We are excited to announce the dates for our 

18th annual IN-PERSON Hura Tahiti International Competition!

 

Due to Covid-19 and the restrictions placed in LA County and surrounding counties, we have decided to move our competition to beautiful Southern Utah! This event will be held on Saturday, June 25 at: 

​

The location for the event will be at the spacious

Dixie Convention Center in St George, UT.  

 

We are lucky to host our competition in a community that is 2 hours North of Las Vegas, 45 minutes North of Mesquite, Nevada, and about 4 hours south of Salt Lake City.  Known as 'Greater Zion', Southern Utah is recognized as the premier location for the Ironman World Championship, St George Marathon, and the World Huntsman Games.  Although our location has changed, our love and dedication to our Tahitian heritage have not.  We invite Tahitian dancers near and far to submit their applications and join us as we celebrate the BEAUTY of Tahiti through cultural and performing arts.

Important Dates:

• June 24rd - Presentation of themes. Ra'atira Pupu 'Ori competing in group competition will have the opportunity to present their theme to the judges, explain costume choices, etc.  The time allotted for each presentation will depend on the number of groups participating. Information will be sent out at a later date.
