TE FANO O TE RA INC
Cultural and Performing arts - Polynesian dance studio

30 years
CELEBRATING THE BEAUTY
OF THE PACIFIC ISLANDS
Under the Direction of Alec & Tanya Tekurio, Hitia O Te Ra was established in 1988. Now their children continue their legacy under the name given to them by their father, Te Fano O Te Ra. Te Fano is a 501(c)3 organization committed to nurturing the dance community by providing affordable classes and performance opportunities regardless of financial or social status. Our goal is to perpetuate the songs, dances, and beauty of Polynesia through cultural and performing arts.
Our Vision is to engage dancers in life-long learning through creative expression, collaborate with professional artists, forge meaningful community partnerships, and pushes the boundaries of the art and practice of dance.
For 18 years the Tekurio family has made it their mission to share the beauty of Tahiti through cultural education and performing arts. This year we will host our competition in beautiful Southern Utah on June 24 and 25 (Friday & Saturday) at the Dixie Convention Center. We seek after sponsors & partners who have specific roles in promoting all aspects of Tahiti/Polynesia. This year, we are honored to have:
-
Air Tahiti Nui is our Official Travel Sponsor
-
'Arioi is the Official Sponsor of Tahitian Culture, Traditions and Arts
-
